Eligibility

The contest is open to College Students and School students across the state of Tamilnadu. We also invite corporate professionals to share their short films.

Submission Guidelines
  • Submissions should be original works.
  • Films must be 7-10 minutes long.
  • Participants must fill out the official registration form available on the Art-eries Website and submit it along with their film
  • Participants can upload their short films in the registration form. Submissions should be in  MP4, and MOV format, not exceeding 300 mb file size limit.
  • Incase participants wish to sent their short films via mail. You can mail to:

Theme Guidelines

Craft your short films with these themes in mind, aiming to resonate with the audience and contribute to the festival’s impactful narrative. Participants must adhere to the specified theme.

Heart Theme:

Create short films that touch on resilience, compassion, and human stories that connect with the audience emotionally.

Nature Theme:

Showcase the societal impact of nature in short films—highlight biodiversity, sustainability, and moments that transform the natural world.

Media Theme:

Explore how media influences society in short films—tell stories about its role in shaping narratives, connecting lives, and bringing positive change.

Submission Deadline
  • The deadline for submitting entries is 10th March 2024
  • You can Submit your videos by uploading it on the registration form or by mailing it to us.
  • Late submissions will not be considered.
Content Restrictions
  • Submissions should not include content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates any applicable laws.
  • Use of copyrighted material must be appropriately licensed and credited.
Awards and Prizes
  • Awards will be presented in categories such as college students, working professionals and school students (classes 9 to 12th).
  • Prizes may include cash prizes, mementos, and certificates for the following each category:

1st Prize – Rs 25,000 + Certificate

2nd prize – rs 15,000 + Certificate

3rd Prize – Rs 10,000 + Certificate

Participation Prize – Certificate + mementos

Note: Only selected entries showcased at the events will be eligible for participation prizes

Screening
  • Selected films may be showcased at a leading private theater; the date and venue details will be communicated shortly.
  • For the latest updates on screening schedules and venues, kindly refer to our official website
Rights and Permissions
  • Participants retain the rights to their films but grant Noel Foundation the right to use winning entries or more for promotional purposes, website and social platforms.
  • By submitting a film, participants grant permission for this screening.

Disqualification
  • Films that do not adhere to the rules and guidelines may be disqualified.
  • The event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any submission for reasons such as plagiarism or inappropriate content.
Miscellaneous

Event Organizers (Visual Communication Dept of Mar Gregorios College and Noel Foundation) reserve the right to amend the rules and regulations if necessary.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the rights and permissions for all elements in their films.
